Operating Procedures

  1. Preparation before measuring

1) Check whether the battery voltage is normal; 

2) Clean the surface of workpiece to be measured;

2. Measuring

   1) Insert the sensor into sensor-connecting set at the bottom of the instrument, and then push it to the end gently.

   2) Place the instrument correctly, smoothly and firmly on the surface of the test workpiece.

   3) The trajectories of the sensor must be vertical to the direction of the processed texture of workpiece surface.

   4) Press Enter to set the required measurement conditions.

   5) Press Start key to start sampling and filtering, and then wait for parameter calculation.

   6) After measurement, return to the basic measurement status. Display measurement results and record data.

 

After Measurement:

1)     Hold the base of the main body portion or the protective cover of the sensor, and slowly pull it out.

2)     Place the sensor, main part of the sensor, and other accessories back to dedicated boxes.
