Operation Rules
- Configure twin-jet liquid for sample. It is 9% perchloric acid + alcohol for general steel sample.
- Connect the device power, and turn on the switch. Pour the twin-jet liquid into the dissolving pool, and add liquid nitrogen to cool the temperature of liquid down to -20 ℃ ~ -30 ℃.
- Load the sample to sample holder and place it in the slot. Select twin-jet mode, and measure twin-jet voltage of the sample.
- Click the Start button to start the twin jet; steel sample is generally completed within two minutes.
- After hearing the warning beep of the end of the experiment, take out the sample rapidly from folder. Put it into the pure alcohol to clean. Then put it on filter paper to dry.
- After the experiment, clean equipment with water, and power off.
Attention: The experiment shall not start until the twin-jet liquid temperature stabilized. The sample after twin-jet should be washed gently by swaying in alcohol and avoid its thin area being cleansed away.
