On December 3, the sixth session of the Fifth Academic Committee of RAL was held in Jianguo Hotel of Beijing University of Technology. Committee members including Academician Zuo Tieyong, Academician Yin Guomao, Academician Gan Yong, Academician Zhao Zhenye, Professor Zhao Kun, Professor Peng Yinghong and Academician Wang Guodong attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by the Academician Zuo Tieyong, Chairman of the Academic Committee. During the meeting, they held a discussion and exchange on the work in 2014 and future development of RAL.
During the meeting, Professor Wu Di, director of RAL, made a work report, which introduced the progress and achievements of RAL in 2014, and the future development direction in detail. The committee members fully affirmed the progress made in 2014 and highly praised the achievements of RAL under the depression of steel industry. The committee members also carefully analyzed and discussed the research direction, and development objective of RAL, and put forward some constructive opinions and advices.
