On the morning of July 14, Wang Yibin, general manager of Dong Feng(Wuhan) Industrial Co., Ltd and Gao Xianchen, deputy general manager of Dong Feng (Wuhan) Industrial Co., Ltd visited RAL and had an in-depth exchange with Academician Wang Guodong and Professor Yi Hongliang in RAL on the automotive steel resistance spot welding technology and hot stamping technology.
The two sides recognized RAL’s advantages in terms of theoretical basis and cutting-edge technology in hot stamping and welding, and acknowledged that Dong Feng (Wuhan) Industrial Co., Ltd had the largest welding workshop and leading hot stamping technology in China. Through integrating those advantages, the two sides hoped their cooperation would promote the overall upgrade of domestic hot stamping technology, and take the lead in the exploration of hot stamping technology internationally.
Dongfeng (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. is a specialized automobile parts manufacturer in fields of stamping, welding, painting and other processing techniques. It is also the largest, first-class automotive mold manufacturer in China. The industry group focuses its business on mold development and provides a full set of equipment in new car development, covering molding, checking and clipping. It also provides automotive stamping parts and technical coordination services for vehicles.
The company was founded in September 2009, and established a joint venture with Tianjin Auto Mold Co., Ltd in July 2014, with Dong Feng Industrial Co., Ltd as the holding company. By March 2015, more than 1200 employees work in the company. Since its establishment, the company keeps a good development momentum, with the sales revenue of 830 million Yuan in 2012, 1 billion Yuan in 2013, and 1.5 billion Yuan in 2014.
