On the morning of August 1, Niu Yugang, general manager of Shandong Iraeta Heavy Industry Co., Ltd and his delegation visited RAL and attended the seminar together with Academician Wang Guodong, Professor Wang Zhaodong, and Professor Yi Hongliang from RAL. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on the steel texture, performance and other issues in the production process of wind turbine forging and extra high-pressure flanges.
At the seminar, Niu gave a detailed account of the business focus, company scale and core value of Shandong Iraeta Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, he expressed the wish of cooperate with RAL experts, so as to generate innovative products and promote the wind power development in China.
The two sides recognized RAL’s advantages in terms of fundamental research and industrial application of steel, and acknowledged the complete forging equipment and sophisticated processing facilities of Shandong Iraeta Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Through integrating those advantages, the two sides hoped their cooperation would promote the overall upgrade of domestic wind power forging technology, and take the lead in the exploration of cutting-edge technology internationally.
