On October 10, Wang Guodong, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chen Zhuo, Secretary General of Electrical Steel Branch of the Chinese Society for Metals, and Zhang Shengsheng, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of China Brazil Smart Steel Group visited some special steel enterprises in Xinghua City. Wang Jin, Vice Mayor of Xinghua, accompanied their visits.
Academician Wang Guodong and other representatives visited Yuanmeng Special Steel, Science and Technology Innovation Center and other enterprises of Xinghua City. Academician Wang Guodong visited the workshops of enterprises, asked in detail about their control method of technological process, the establishment of quality management system and technical characteristics of electric steel, inspected the production line and products displayed, and held a detailed discussion with leaders of these enterprises about their production technology, technical parameters, scientific innovation, and cooperation with research institutes and universities.
In a symposia with relevant enterprises and science and technology departments of Xinhua City, Academician Wang Guodong affirmed and praised the practices of Xinhua City in promoting the transformation of traditional enterprises to high-tech enterprises, industrial development of high-tech enterprises and branding of specialty products, accelerating scientific and technological result transformation, and promoting the transformation of economic development mode. He hoped that Xinghua could give full play to the advantage of special steel industry, develop more specialty products for the high-speed rail, smart grid, environmental protection and other emerging industries, activate the endogenous power, promote close cooperation between production enterprises and research institutes, and promote economic restructuring and upgrading.
