The 4th International Symposium on Advanced Rolling Equipment Technology and Green & Intelligent Material Processing
As the basic industry in national equipment manufacturing, metallurgical machinery is a strategic industry affecting the national security and economic lifeline of China, and plays a critical role in major state engineering projects and national economic development. Faced with the dual challenges of transformation and upgrading in equipment manufacturing in China and the “re-industrialization” in developed countries at the international level, “The 4th International Symposium on Advanced Rolling Equipment Technology and Green & Intelligent Material Processing” is set to be held in Shenyang, Liaoning province from December 7th, 2017 to December 8th, 2017, in order to actively implement the “ Made in China 2025 Strategy ” and stick to the guidelines of “innovation-driven and intelligent transformation, strengthen the foundation for green development”, to speed up the efficient, intelligent and green development of the technical equipment and manufacturing process in rolling industry, so as to further support the strategic goal of transforming China from a great nation in equipment manufacturing to a powerful one.
With the theme of “Green·Intelligent·Collaborative·Innovative”, the symposium will take the opportunity of “Made in China 2025 Strategy” and explore rolling, metallurgy, forging, material and other relevant fields, discuss the advanced technology in steel and heavy machinery, the frontier and future development of new equipment technology, in order to provide a platform of exchange and communication for the experts, scholars, engineering technicians, and postgraduates.

冶金机械工业是国家装备制造业的基础行业，也是关乎国家安全和经济命脉的战略性产业，在国家重大工程建设和国民经济发展中发挥着极为重要的作用。面对当前国内装备制造业转型升级和工业发达国家“再工业化”的双重严峻挑战，为积极落实“中国制造2025”发展战略，坚持“创新驱动、智能转型、强化基础、绿色发展”，加快轧制领域技术装备与制造过程高效智能和绿色化，以支撑我国实现从装备制造大国向强国转变的战略目标，拟定于2017年12月7日-2017年12月8日在辽宁沈阳召开“第四届轧钢设备新技术国际研讨会（2017年）暨智能化绿色化材料加工国际研讨会”。
一、会议主题
研讨会以绿色、智能、协同、创新(Green、Intelligent、Collaborative、Innovative)为主题，围绕轧制、冶金、锻压、材料等相关领域，以“中国制造2025”为契机，探讨钢铁与重型机械新技术、新装备技术前沿及未来发展，为专家学者、工程技术人员和研究生搭建一个交流和传播平台。
